Hybrid Toyota Vehicles for 2020 Model Year
Each year, more and more hybrid vehicles hit the market. Toyota has been a front-runner in this process ever since it launched the first mass-produced hybrid vehicle, the Prius. Now, the company has increased its hybrid model count to eight, offering not only hybrid sedans, but hybrid SUVs as well. Let’s go through the eight hybrid models below.
2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid
The 2020 Corolla Hybrid receives 53 city mpg and 52 highway mpg. The Corolla Hybrid is available in seven colors and comes in one trim level. Additionally, it is equipped with Toyota Safety Sense™ 2.0 and advanced technology.
2020 Toyota Camry Hybrid
The first hybrid Camry model was released in 2007, and receives the same impressive fuel efficiency as the Corolla Hybrid with 51 city mpg and 53 highway mpg. The Camry Hybrid is available in three trim levels—Hybrid LE, Hybrid SE and Hybrid XLE—and comes with a standard Smart Key System with Push Button Start and Toyota Safety Sense™ P.

2020 Toyota Prius
The first Toyota Prius was released in 1997, which officially kicked off the mass-production of hybrid vehicles. Today, the Prius receives 54 city mpg and 50 highway mpg. Additionally, the Prius is available in six models—L Eco, LE, XLE, Limited, LE AWD-e, XLE AWD-e.
2020 Toyota Prius Prime
The Prius Prime is a plug-in hybrid that receives 54 combined MPG and 133 MPGe. Available in seven colors and three trim levels, the Prius Prime provides plenty of opportunities to be customized to the driver’s taste. The three trim levels include LE, XLE and Limited models.
2020 Toyota Avalon Hybrid
The Toyota Avalon Hybrid is a full-size sedan that sports a classy design. This model is available in eight exterior color options and is available in three models—XLE, XSE and Limited. The Avalon Hybrid receives some of the best fuel efficiency of the models we’ve discussed so far, providing 43 city mpg and 44 highway mpg.
The RAV4 Hybrid was introduced to the market in 2016. This hybrid crossover SUV achieves excellent fuel economy, receiving about 41 city mpg and 38 highway mpg. The RAV4 Hybrid is available in four models—LE Hybrid, XLE Hybrid, XSE Hybrid and Limited Hybrid—as well as 13 exterior color options.
2020 Toyota Highlander Hybrid
Toyota debuted the Highlander Hybrid in 2006, but the 2020 model is the most fuel-efficient Highlander yet. With a system that produces 243 total horsepower and receives 36 combined mpg. The Highlander Hybrid offers selectable modes like NORMAL, ECO and SPORT.
2019 Toyota Mirai
Back in 2015, Toyota introduced its first-ever hydrogen fuel-cell electric vehicle, the Mirai. In its second generation, the Mirai is equipped with technology, impressive performance and an athletic design. This electric vehicle has a driving range of more than 300 miles and produces 151 horsepower.
